One of the best programs to make VoIP calls to PC, landline or mobile phones. Its best
feature is definitely the reliability due to the fact to have been the first program used
for the VoIP phone calls.
It allows;

Receive telephone calls on PC with SkypeOut
Use mobile VoIP due to third parts such as ISkoot or VoIP enabled cellular such as the
NetGear SPH101.
Advantages: reliability and portability on third parts Disadvantages: Competitors costs
start being cheaper
2. VoipStunt
One of the first Skype competitor. VoipStunt introduced free VoIP calls to landline phone in
many countries. It has cheaper rates than Skype and it uses SIP protocol, which allows to
use also normal telephones.
Advantages: Absolutely competitive due to free calls, expecially for registered users
Disadvantages: I tried to make some VoIP calls to mobile telephones;some time, in trial
mode, i was not able to complete the call.
3. Jajah
In the internet telephony war Jajah was the first program to allow to make webcalls calls
using a normal phone (without PC). It’s enough to digit the caller number (you) and the
recipient number into Jajah home page and wait for your phone ringing. Just hang on and wait
for the answer on the other side.
Advantages: No needs of software and free calls to some countries Disadvantages: You need a
phone, no PC calls allowed
4. Gizmo Project
Gizmo Project is trying to open his own space into the VoIP market and offers free VoIP
calls to lanoline and mobile phones. Free calls are allowed among Gismo registered members
only.
Advantages: absolutely free calls between registered users Disadvantages: the calls quality
seems to be not so good
